1A/2A MPSSAA Regional Changes

Please note that I have been in contact with Bo Myers at HCC and others regarding make-up of the 1A West Indoor Track Meet that was canceled Saturday, January 30, 2010, due to inclement weather.

Please note the following information as to the make-up of the 1A West Region Indoor Track Meet.

The 2A West region Meet originally scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 2010, will be held first with entry into the ARCC at 11:00 a.m. for the teams, the coaches' meeting at 11:00 a.m., and the meet beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The 1A West Region Meet will be held immediately following conclusion of the 2A West meet with the following stipulations / requirements.

1.  The 1A West coaches meeting will be held in an upstairs classroom beginning promptly at 4:45 p.m.  The designation of the classroom will be forthcoming from Ray Shriver.

2.  All 1A West meet participants are to remain on their respective buses until notified by their coaches following the coaches meeting.  There shall be no admission by 1A West coaches or meet participants into the ARCC until the 2A West meet has been concluded.   There will be no exceptions to this procedure.  All schools are to have an assistant coach remain in the bus to monitor students.

3.  The 1A Meet will begin as soon as the 2A meet is concluded and the participants from the 15 2A West schools have vacated the ARCC.

4.  The snow date for the re-scheduled 1A West Region Indoor Track Meet will be Friday, February 12, 2010.


Please note the state seeding meeting remains scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2010, with the 1A State Indoor Meet scheduled for Monday, February 15, 2010.
