NSSF
Announces Team for Third
The National Scholastic Sports Foundation has announced the team members for the Third Caribbean Scholastic Invitational. Twenty-eight male and female student-athletes have been selected, all of whom have recently completed the freshman, sophomore or junior years in high school (see below).

third year that the NSSF has brought a team to the meet, held in
There are
five Virginians on the team, all from the Tidewater area (
Other states represented are Texas and Maryland with four each, Pennsylvania with three, South Carolina with two, and Georgia, New York, Ohio, Tennessee and Rhode Island each with one.
The team
arrives in
The team will be accompanied by a staff of 12, including a medical doctor, massage therapist, chiropractor, coaches and support individuals.
The meet is
actually open to any high school student in the

(501.c.3.) dedicated to the promotion of high school and junior age (under 20)
track and field and cross-country.
