Antietam Conference Championship

COACHES:                          Meeting at 3:00 PM in the press box

 

TIMES:                                  Field Events: 4:00, Running Events: 4:30

 

SCORING:                           Top 6 places in each event (10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1)

 

RIBBONS:                             Top 6 places

 

ENTRIES:                              1 relay team, 3 individuals per event

 

SUBSTITUTES:                    Coaches may scratch at the coaches’ meeting.  A scratch WILL count

toward an athlete’s 4 events.

 

TRACK:                                 All weather, no spikes longer than 1/4” showing

 

TRIALS:                                 Will be held in the 100m, 200m and High Hurdles

 

FINALS:                                300m IH and 400m dash will be run entirely in lanes

                                                400m relay & 800m relay will be run entirely in lanes

                                                all races 800m & longer will use a one turn stagger

                                                1600m relay – 1st runner entirely in lanes, others break for position

 

ATHLETES:                          Please keep your athletes out of the track area unless participating in an

event.

 

UNIFORMS:                         The MPSSAA uniform rule will be in effect.

 

ELECTRONICS:                 Athletes are not permitted to have any electronics in the competition area which is                                                                 defined as the area inside the small fence around the track and within the roped-off                                                               area of shot put and discus.

 

EVENT CALL:                     Please have athletes report by 2nd call.

 

BLOCKS:                              Will be provided.

 

TAPE:                                    Please, no tape on the jump and pole vault runways.  Elsewhere is ok as

long as athletes remove it when finished their events.

 

FACILITIES:                        There will be no dressing facilities available.  Rest rooms are located at

the track.  Leopard Athletic Booster Club will have a concession stand.

 

PRESS BOX:                        Please keep everyone out of here.  Results will be posted as quickly as

possible.

 

TRASH:                                 Please have your athletes police their area after the meet.

 

PROBLEMS:                         See me during the meet.
