CHAMBERSBURG, Pa., Nov. 23 – The 11th annual Chambersburg Cross Country Alumni Run is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27, on the Trojans’ 3-mile course at Falling Spring Elementary School.

The race is expected to start promptly at 11 a.m.

The event is open to everyone of all ages and abilities, not only Chambersburg Area Senior High School alumni. 50 runners crossed the finish line in 2009. About 75 participants are expected for this year’s event.

The run is free of charge. Donations are collected to benefit both the Tim & Susan Cook and Enos Yeager memorial scholarship funds and to help cover the event’s expenses. In its 10 years, more than $5,000 has been raised.
