Dear ERR Members,

ERR will host an "ALL COMERSS" Meet on June 23rd. We hope you will participate. Competitions will be held in several events by Age Group - including several Master's events. So stretch your legs out and come out to LHS and participate.

Volunteers are also needed for an All Comers Track and Field Meet that will be held on Saturday June 23rd at LibertyHigh School. The meet will begin at 9am. Track and Field knowledge is not needed. If you are interested in helping out please contact Coach Bokman at boko300@aol.com

The "Tri to Win the fight against Melanoma" on June 17th at the SC Swim club, and they are looking for volunteers to help them at the event.

Two primary areas on race morning -

2-3 Volunteers as External Transition Area Monitors/Supervision - ensure appropriate mount/dismount bikes-area marked on driveway; and, adherence to bike/run race lanes as the 20' wide driveway has incoming/outgoing bikes and runners that need to stay in lanes to avoid collisions (same with swimmers crossing the run lanes from the pool into transition area).
2-3 Volunteers as Internal Transition Area Monitors/Supervision - ensure that triathletes in transition from swim to bike or bike to run use caution running through area with others doing likewise; and, also appropriate use of exits for either bike or run.
5-6 Volunteers as Bike Course Road/Corner Guards - this is a stationary spot adjacent to a road intersection (lawn chairs are useful) that ensure oncoming bikers are aware of imminent road turn and are careful doing it. We have on course mobile medical attention and SAG wagon (Princeton Sports) for biker assistance - everyone connected via cell phone as needed.

MOTIVATION AND ENTHUSIASM ESSENTIAL IN ALL LOCATIONS - Racers are very, very appreciative of volunteers as you know very well from your experiences.
