TIME:<= /b>  Course Open for Teams to Tour 3:00 to 4:00 “Coaches= pick up packets”

   &nbs= p;        Note: “it will take about a 1hr to walk the course; maps will be provided at site”

WHERE:= Webster Co. High School “Big Ditch Lake” Cowen, WV 26206

 

DIRECTIONS: Coming from Rt. 19 (Summersville) turn ont= o 41 New River Community College will be on your = Left follow this road to Craigsville where at the Stop light continue straight through towards Cowen.  When you come to a water treatment plant on your right you will turn= on to Birch River Road to your Left this will take you directly to the lake wh= ich in on the Left.

 

DIRECTIONS: Coming from I-79 turn on to US Rt. 19 Exit= 57 “BECKLEY EXIT”  tr= avel to you see the Birch River Exit then take this road towards Cowen you will = come to Y in the road you will need to stay on the main road this will lead you = to the Lake.

 

AWARDS: Team – First & Second= Place for both Boys and Girls

   &nbs= p;        INDIVIDUALS à 1-10 BOYS / GIRLS

 

ENTRY FEE:= $35.00 ONE TEAM OR $50.00 FOR TWO, $7.00 PER INDIVIDUAL

COURSE: 5000 meters, Varied including, Open paths alon= g the lake with grass and some gravel, Woodland trails, wood bridges, 1 very challenging hill clime “Pine Grove” & one hill climb “Deer Berry”
