 Highlights:

 Twelve new seasonal area best performances were posted in a stirring dual
 meet at Frederick High School.

 New boys leaders are Frederick's A. J. Waldon in the 200 (22.8) and Keith
 Jenkins in the triple jump (43-7) and Linganore's Erik Necciai in the 1600
 (4:29.9) and Jonathan Hayes in the 3200 (9:55).

 Four Frederick girls posting new season bests were Michelle Higginbottom in
  the 200 (26.3), Jessica Hawrhorne in the 800 (2:25), Mardy Przywarty,
 shaking off an injury the week before, in the 300 hurdles (48.2), and
 Valerie Williams in the long jump (18-10).

 All four girls relay times were season bests, with Frederick winning the
 4x100 (50.3) and 4x800 (10:03) and Linganore winning the 4x200 (1:48) and
 4x400 (4:25).
