2009 Class AA/A Region I Cross Country Meet
Dear Cross-Country Coach,
Date: Thursday, October 22
Schedule:
Awards: Custom Region I Medals for the 1st 20 finishers in each division.
WVSSAC Plaque for the team champion in each division.
The top 10 individuals in each race will advance to the state meet.
Teams will advance according to WVSSAC guidelines.
Course: We will run our regular course minus the creek crossing. Runners will go
around the old school house to make up the difference in distance.
Miscellaneous: 1) Each school is allowed up to 7 entries for each race. Alternates should be listed as well. We will be using a computer scoring system. Meet Event Files will be placed on RunWV.com so you can submit rosters via Hy-Tek and e-mail (to runwv@runwv.com). Using the meet event file will help us greatly in setting up the meet, but there is also a WVSSAC entry form for this meet. It was in your coaches’ packet from the WVSSAC that you received at the beginning of the season. Please follow the directions on that form, as well. It will ask you to send your entries to the WVSSAC and to Greg Bonnell, AD at DCHS. Make sure that your eligibility certificate is up to date and that all of your runners are listed on it! 2) Admission ($6.00 for adults and $5.00 for students as required by WVSSAC) will be charged for spectators at the top of the hill.
