HANCOCK – Don’t blame Doug Oates if he becomes a road-racing whore over the next few months.
His average of more than one race every weekend of the past few weeks isn’t recommended, but it doesn’t appear to have slowed him down.

SMITHSBURG – In his own words, Smithsburg junior Dave Wilson hasn’t “even come close” to beating Williamsport rival Michael Lilley, the class of Washington County boys cross country through this point during the fall campaign.
But that doesn’t keep the Leopards harrier from dreaming.
