NEW CREEK, W.Va. -- Tucker County senior David Rhodes held a seven-second lead after the first mile in a quadrangular meet on Tuesday at Keyser High School.
Lucky for Ian MacFawn that it wasn't eight seconds. MacFawn, Allegany's standout sophomore, outkicked Rhodes in the final 50 meters to claim a one-second victory by crossing the finish line in 18 minutes and 16 seconds.
