I had the
privilege of being meet director for the Track & Field competition at the WV
Senior Sports Games held this afternoon at the WVU Track & Field
Complex. I was impressed by the high level competitiveness of among the
athletes and even more impressed with the higher level of sportsmanship these
athletes demonstrate. I had a lot
of fun working this competition. It
was track & field at its best.
In an age of when track & field is mainly talked about in the
mainstream media during doping scandals and after college programs have been
cut, it was a breath of fresh air to see track & field at it purist.
I have
attached the results as a word file.
Sorry we did not have the hytek system set up
for this meet. All times were hand
timed and in the results the times have already been converted to
FAT.
